Summary of Service & Safe Harbor Protections

Saveinx is a technical utility that facilitates user-directed fetching of public video streams directly from platform CDNs. We do not host, store, index, or own any content downloaded through this utility.

1. Technical Architecture & Non-Hosting Disclaimer

Saveinx is a client-side video helper and web utility. Saveinx does not host, store, archive, cache, index, or duplicate any copyrighted video, audio, or image files on its servers. All media streams, video URLs, and downloads are fetched in real-time by the end user directly from the public content delivery networks (CDNs) of third-party platforms (including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Snapchat).

2. User Responsibility & Content Ownership

Users of Saveinx are strictly responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right, fair use justification, or explicit permission from the original copyright holder before downloading or archiving any content. Saveinx is intended solely for personal, non-commercial, educational, and backup fair use. Saveinx strictly opposes and does not condone unauthorized copyright infringement or commercial redistribution.

3. DMCA Compliance & Safe Harbor Provisions

Saveinx operates in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and international intellectual property laws. Because Saveinx does not host, store, or control the underlying media files on third-party servers, removing a link from Saveinx does not delete the source file from the hosting social network. To permanently remove content from the web, copyright owners must submit a takedown notice to the respective platform where the video is originally hosted.

4. URL Disabling & Takedown Request Procedure

If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe that our utility is facilitating access to infringing material, you may request that Saveinx block or disable the processing of specific URLs. We review all verifiable infringement notices promptly and will restrict the specified URLs from being processed through our service.

5. Notice Submission Requirements & Designated Agent

To file a valid DMCA notice, please send a written communication to our designated copyright agent containing: (a) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (b) The specific social media URL(s) you wish to block; (c) Sufficient contact details including your legal name, physical address, phone number, and official email; and (d) A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized. Submit all notices to: [email protected].
